Prevention is better than cure. Often, preventing incidents or problems is better than solving them. No matter how well and quickly it's done. Certainly within ICT organizations, the majority of “incidents" and “problems" are rooted in a “change" with unforeseen consequences.
In practice, things are also frequently wrong with any other (project) work. Preventive and consequential measures in a `project plan' or `change implementation plan' based on a good risk analysis beforehand, make an important contribution to prevent this in the future. This one-day training teaches you how to use a simple but highly effective method.
Results
The Risk Analysis training provides you with everything you need to apply the risk analysis methodology independantly. In addition, the training has the following learning objectives:
- Differentiate between opportunity and effect, prevention and control
- Recognizing and making assumptions transparent
- Increase predictability in changes and activities
- Asking the right questions’s assessing risks
- Define and prioritize measures
- Translating the risk analysis into concrete adjustments to a change and implementation plan
For whom
This training is for everyone who is expected to be able to independently conduct a risk analysis on, for example, planned activities, a project plan or a change implementation plan, with or without input from others.
Content and structure
The training contains a mix of theory, practical examples and exercises. In addition, there is plenty of room for application at your own work. A Risk Analysis training lasts 1 day and is offered as an in-company training for groups of a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 people per group.
