RCA from the biggest IT outage in history

10-09-2024 On 19 July, much air traffic was down, payment systems were unavailable, and operations were cancelled. The cause? A crashed computer. Affectionately called a Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD). A Windows computer that needs to be manually restored. IT experts worked for days to restore all computers and 3 weeks later CrowdStrike's RCA appeared.
