For whom?

The Reliability & Maintenance Engineering learning is intended for everyone who is responsible for improving the performance of the assets and the organization. Such as employees from production, process technology and the maintenance organization. They work for asset owners or service providers, such as consultancy and engineering firms and contractors. Think of process engineers, maintenance engineers, reliability engineers, consultants, and so on.

This learning process we strive for maximum transfer of trained skills to your own workplace:
  1. Direct managers are present at both the first and last day, so they discover how to create the best conditions for maximum return.
  2. During the learning, under the guidance of the trainers, work is being done on own project(s), so that the trained methods and principles are applied directly. This way, not only is there practice on own issues but also at the same time we are working on improving Asset & Maintenance Management performance.
  3. Participants facilitate (as part of the training) an issue in the organization of another participant. This is in the presence of a coach from Cothink to gain an unique experience and even more confidence in the application of trained skills, even in unfamiliar situations.
A certificate is attached to the course. Based on proven skill and commitment, it is awarded with the predicate bronze, silver or gold. After certification, participants can join the active group of former participants (alumni R&ME).

During the learning you become skilled in applying methods for solving problems. There is a lot of attention to increasing personal effectiveness and leading improvement groups. After completing the learning, you are a goal-oriented and decisive improver for your company.

Structure of the R&ME learning

You follow the Reliability & Maintenance Engineering training in blocks with training and assignments spread over a (see program) within 13 days. You receive individual guidance, including online coaching. The structure with theory and practical assignments is as follows:

Block 1 

Continuously improve introduction and orientation on R&ME and  RATIOnal (Reflect). 

Block 2

You learn everything about the objectives of Asset Management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills

Block 3

This block is devoted to facilitator skills. (RCA / RATIO problem approach) and personal development (Reflect, Analyzing, Asignment, Implementing, Observing).

Block 4

Continued RCA / RATIO skills. Lean Maintenance Data Analytics for Reliability Engineering (Risk Management, RCM, FMEA) (Asignment, Implementing). 

Block 5

Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) as Facilitator (Reflect). Theorie skills FME(C)A and RCM. 

Block 6

Reliability Centred Maintenance: Analyzing en Asignment as facilitator. Advice performance improvement Assets. And you learn to apply R&ME effectively in practice.

Last festive day

You complete the course with a presentation of your personal development and implementation plan to your managers.
You will receive a certificate as proof of competence. And be welcome to our facilitator network The FIRM.

Various group sizes are possible at our training location. The learning starts several times a year.

Educational resources, such as documentation and a free subscription to our electronic RATIO templates, lunches, dinners and further catering are included.
