I learned about RATIO just before I became major Incident Manager. I knew immediately that this was ‘gold’ for me personally and for the organization. Before the introduction of RATIO, we naturally also solved problems. But then the lead time was often long and unpredictable. By using RATIO we went from solving with a ‘little bit of luck’ to solving ‘deliberately always right’.
I did a successful implementation of RATIO, major Incident Management function and the process. I am very proud that this led to a demonstrable improvement in resolution speed and customer satisfaction.
